I learned a great deal in this technology class. Before this course, I thought that I knew a lot about technology, but I soon realized that I didn't know as much as I thought. I thought that the course was designed well for the novice as well as the "experts". The course also gave me a refresher in some Microsoft Office programs-i.e. excel. I was very impressed by Wikis, and I am currently developing a wikispace for my church as we compile a souvenir journal. I was also impressed with the on-line surveys that I used within my school after learning about it. I admit that I need to become more familiar with iTunes and podcasts, but at least I know now that podcasting involves.
I loved that this course was offered on-line. I felt Dr. McCracken was always available to answer my questions. I felt he was more available than my past professors because this course was on-line. The on-line tutorials made me feel like I was respected enough as a professional to decide what things I needed help in and what things I could handle on my own. I enjoyed the fact that this course allowed me to be as creative as we wanted. Overall, I enjoyed this class and would reccommend it to anyone!
